How To Become An Agent:
-
Age: One should be
above 18 years and
of Sound Mind.

Qualification:
Degree holders, High
National Diploma (HND)
Diploma, Teachers
Certificate,
Professional
Certificate, O’ and
A’ Levels
Certificates and
Minimum of SHSCE
Certificates with
passes in English
and Mathematics.
Equivalent
Professional
Certificates are
also acceptable.

Interview: An
interview is usually
conducted by
seasoned Insurance
Officers in the
Company. One is
expected to impress
the officers in
order to be
successful.

Insurance Training:
Practical Insurance
agency training will
be done for about
three weeks. This is
to enhance the
product knowledge of
the agent in order
to boost
productivity.

Agency Insurance
License: When an
agent is fully
qualified the
company gets him /
her license from
National Insurance
Commission (NIC) to
testify that the
agent can sell
INFORMATION CENTER.
The cost for the
license for each
agent is GH¢15.00
which is paid by the
company. Similarly,
the renewal of the
license with the
cost of GH¢5.00 is
also done by the
company.
